Federal Deputy Minister of Food and Agriculture of Germany Inaugurates the Office of the Uruguayan-German Agricultural Dialogue

On Tuesday, April 23rd, during the official visit to Uruguay by the Deputy Minister of the Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture of Germany (BMEL), Ms. Claudia Müller, we had the honor of launching and inaugurating the office of the Uruguayan-German Agricultural Dialogue (DAUA).

First Steering Group (PSG) Meeting of the Uruguayan-German Agricultural Dialogue (DAUA) in Montevideo

The first Steering Group (PSG) meeting of the Uruguayan-German Agricultural Dialogue (DAUA) was held at the central office of the Ministry of Livestock, Agriculture, and Fisheries (MGAP). During this meeting, the project partners—the Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture of Germany (BMEL), MGAP, Julius Kühn Institute (JKI), and the National Institute of Agricultural Research (INIA)—exchanged views and reached agreements on the operational plan as well as the priority topics to be addressed during the first year of implementation.

IGUAZU SUMMIT: Mercosur and Germany Discussed the New European Union Regulation on Deforestation

The DAUA team was present at the IGUAZU SUMMIT, an international seminar on the implementation of the European Union's Deforestation Regulation in Mercosur countries, which took place on March 14 and 15, 2024, in the city of Puerto Iguazú, Misiones, Argentina.
