Closing of the training cycle on soil carbon simulation models – MGAP and INIA
On October 16, we participated in the closing session of the training cycle on “Soil Carbon Simulation Models,” organized by the Ministry of Livestock, Agriculture and Fisheries (MGAP) at the headquarters of the Directorate-General of Natural Resources (DGRN-MGAP).
During this final session, we worked together with technical teams from MGAP and INIA Uruguay on the CYCLES model, a tool that estimates carbon sequestration in agricultural soils.
The training was led by Virginia Pravia (INIA) and took place within the framework of joint activities with the Uruguayan-German Dialogue on Agriculture (DAUA).
From DAUA, we continue to reaffirm our support for technical training as a basis for sustainable and resilient agriculture.
