DAUA consolidates its role as regional coordinator among BMEL's BKP Projects in Latin America

As part of the Global Forum for Food and Agriculture (GFFA) 2025, an important meeting took place, bringing together the four Bilateral Cooperation Projects (BKP) of the German Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture (BMEL) in Latin America: Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, and Uruguay.

The meeting, organized by GFA Consulting Group GmbH at their offices, also featured the notable participation of Johanna Scholz, Leader of BMEL Projects for Latin America, accompanied by international project managers from GFA and IAK Agrar Consulting GmbH. The main goal was to strengthen regional coordination and enhance synergies among the projects in the region, aligning strategies to face common challenges in the agricultural sector.

We are proud to announce that the Uruguayan-German Dialogue on Agriculture (DAUA) has taken on the responsibility of serving as the regional coordinator among the BKP projects in Latin America. Furthermore, DAUA will act as the focal point for communication and liaison among key stakeholders, promoting more coordinated and efficient work for the benefit of all projects.
