Launch of the Impulso Bio project: strengthening the bio-inputs sector in Uruguay
On March 6, we launched the Impulso Bio project, bringing together ten Uruguayan companies producing Bioinputs with the aim of strengthening this emerging sector, which is key to the sustainability of agroecosystems in the country.
The project is jointly carried out by The Pando Science and Technology Park (PCTP) and the Uruguayan-German Dialogue on Agriculture (DAUA), in coordination with the participating companies, and with support of the National Development Agency (ANDE) through its funding instrument “Associative Practices”.
During the meeting, the project’s objectives, key focus areas, and timeline were presented, and the dynamics of joint work between the companies were established. In the coming months, training sessions and internal workshops will be held to strengthen collaborative efforts, along with opportunities for dialogue with industry institutions and producers.
This project aims to lay the foundations for a more coordinated and visible Bioinputs sector with a national and international reach, thereby contributing to more sustainable agriculture.
We will continue to share updates on this initiative in the coming months.
